Solid Review here. No Spoilers, and direct. Negatives: - No character development other than 2, and 1 of them is a disliked character. - Characters tend to make senseless decisions that aren’t real world, just to make a good movie, but leaves you screaming at the TV. - This movie is borderline fiction due to the immunity of some randomly chosen characters, that should clearly be dead, but just don’t die. - this IS NOT a sequel, it’s a remake. It’s not supposed to tie into to the original story. - Director took a gory thriller approach, there is no romance, no classical horror, very little comedy, no development, it is just constant killing with quick suspense. -unsatisfactory ending Positives: -Movie picks up fast. -Leatherface was portrayed extremely well, agile when needed to be, and creative with his killing when he needed to be. -Main Character’s acting was impressive in time of stress. Overall - NOT a great movie, but it’s good if you’re into serial killer cinema and you have nothing else to watch. 2/5 -
