Spoiler alert** Way to on the nose with the Jesus-savior complex stuff. While the childhood scenes help establish the character, the intergalactic story had all of its own terminology that was easily confusing or forgettable, and the script was simply weak. I did like the twist on Lois lane tho. I also didn’t like him breaking his rule on no killing, but I understand why they did it. Just seemed early for movie #1.
