Total disappointment.
Zero character development compared to how in depth it is done in the book, especially Flagg. Aside from Greg Kinnear I didn’t enjoy the cast, though this is likely the fault of not developing the characters rather than the actors themselves. Flashback format destroys any flow to the story. I don’t think any adaptation could do right by the book.
