I love everything about DC. However, the last several movies (not animated) have missed the mark for me and this was one of them. Margot Robbie is always amazing as Harley Quinn and it will be sad if Harley is recasted. Who ever picks up that mantle will have very big shoes to fill and will most likely always be compared to Margot's version. King Shark is such a fun character and was definitely one of the highlights for me in this movie. One thing I love about DC is their dark comedy and story lines, but in some of this movie I felt they were trying a little too hard. There were a lot of dick and fart jokes as well as over the top graphic scenes. Granted, this is the Suicide Squad so some of that should be expected! Marvel definitely has had a clear plan from the beginning with their movies. I wish DC had the same vision. Instead they're all over the place and not true to their characters, like in Birds of Prey. The shows they have created for the CW and for the DC Universe (now on HBO Max) are some of my favorites. The Titans and Doom Patrol are good TV. I'm glad I saw this movie, but I will not run out to see it again. So much potential but it was just ok for me. I hope to see more from DC. I will always be a big fan.
