Waz Waz

1. Acting is really bad for most of the movie. I know Lilo is 6 but the late 90's and early 2000's didn't have much of an issue finding good kid actors. 2. The fact that they changed one of the most important factors of the original: Lilo and Nani's bond and loyalty. They wrote it terribly and you don't feel the bond between them the way you did in the original film. 3. Jumba not having an accent and being evil till the end.... what the hell was that about... 4. Pleakly barely made an impact as well and they completely threw away the goofy friendship you see Pleakly and Jumba form with each other and even with Stitch towards the end of the movie. Overall the movie turned out exactly how so many people assumed it would. Disney needs to get back to paying and trusting their writers to be creative because they've been handing out terrible films for too many years now Ps: the aunt/grandma and how stitch looked was probably the only good parts of the movie

If I watched this in 2009 when it aired, it would probably be a drama close to my heart that I love greatly. Watching it now, you get all the cliches from K-Dramas in the early 2000's lol. Bad acting, the sound was really weird at time when the screaming and crying would feel like they're yelling into your ears. Lots of really corny, and sometimes boring, scenes. Overall, I didn't hate it. It's one of those classics that you can't help but enjoy. I did have many moments where I skipped dialogue just because I felt as if it was dragging on so long. The ending felt really rushed and confusing. SPOILER Instead of shoving in the lost memory cliche, it would've been nice to fill that space with the 2 leads growing their bond. Wouldve been nice to see the ML's dad eventually wake up and to see the chairwoman make amends with her kids. Overall, would give it a 3/5, it was really hard to get into it in the beginning, I was going to drop it but started putting it on for bg noise and next thing I knew, I was binging it. If you're someone that still enjoys corny classics, this drama as well as "Cinderella and the 4 knights" are enjoyable considering when they aired.
