This is a 5 star movie. Phoenix is every bit the talent his brother was. Academy award for the production,; academy award for there lead role. De Niro is okay. The only thing I thought they missed was a reference to the greatest joker of all times, Paliachi. Perhaps a film clip of the great Caruso singing it or the great tenor who sings it. I have my degrees in performing arts. Parsifal was a clown.
