As a native Oklahoman this film confirmed my belief that there is a problem in Oklahoma. I was encouraged to see that there are folks of real faith moving forward. As a child raised in the Southern Baptist Church politics were never discussed. We talked about Jesus and didn't need a bracelet with initials WWJD. We lived our beliefs. It wasn't until the Republican Party and the televangelists set their sights on the SBC that things changed in the late seventies and eighties. I now live in NC and if a minister starts the political nonsense I will stand up and walk out of the service. The republican party is playing with you Christians. Let people see Jesus in you not in your crazy hatred of immigrants, the LGBTQ community and anyone different than you.
