Loved the film, loved the cast they melted into each other. So true with the goings on in a small town. Im watching it again. If it's on DVD im buying it.

I love the hardship and honesty of the film. I did not know the photojournalist Simth. 1971 I was a teenager. I did read life and look mags. I was touched by the characters. Depp was excellent a change for him and he was genuine. See this film its important.

I loved the film. my favorite actor David Strathain was perfect. The cast brilliant. Story was just like realism of the south in those years. It was touching and human, emotional, cruel.And i watched it twice. I was choked up with tears. Ill the dvd and watch it now and than. My frist time seeing Daisy Edgar Jones she was strong, timid and naive. Her charcter never lost her honesty.
