One of my all time favorites and that includes John Wayne movies . I am not saying that Jonathan Major or Glen Powell are up there with The Duke or the other greats of the past but the two brought their characters across very well . It was though to be able to sit through a movie knowing the outcome of the main character . This was one of those true storys that was waiting to long to be told and as accurately as possible . The Korean War maybe due to it's outcome has been ignored or unknown to say the least . On other thing also . This movie was based on the story who was historical first of something in our nation's history . The writers had to look over the bios of the real characters , then put them on the screen , make them believable , the action scenes correct for the time period all in about a two hour time frame . It was introduce the characters , what their story was about throw in the story Ensign Mohring's accident , the Elizabeth story involvement and oh yeah omit the fact that Jesse Brown until his last mission had flown about 20 other missions prior to his death . Alot of background story to try and fit in in just over two hours of movie time .
