After watching other great shows like Downton Abbey, Poldark, or Pride and Prejudice, I find the writing for this show "cheesy." The drama in my opinion was a bit silly like Simon's reason for not wanting a baby. There's too many scenes in bed which add nothing to the plot, it gets annoying.
