I personally loved the movie. This was recommended by multiple shorts and was intriguing enough to watch. Awkwafina and Sandra Oh played each character splendidly. I can actually feel like they're sisters. What I love above all is that while the characters play off each other as if they are polar opposites, their sisterhood is palpable. Anne was too closed off, timid, and felt every bit anxious about being seen, but craved genuine appreciation from other people. Jenny is an odd, eccentric, but honest-to-god kindred spirit. Jenny might push back some audience on first viewing with how much disorganized she is about her life and career she wants but what endeared me was how much love and care she has for her sister. She means well, and when push comes to shove, she does show up when her sister needs her most. The movie itself was a blast to watch. Jokes aside, I considered it a solid watch. 4.8/5
