Riot claims to make fair matchmaking but it is incorrect it endorses smurfing and will not fix it so as a new player expect to fight diamond players as you start playing. The lower rank bracket comprises of mainly smurfs and others intentionally sabotaging games freely with no repercussions. Until they make the game fair and great again it is trash and not good for new players anymore.
