Maybe the show-runner merely remained true to the original series (with which I'm unfamiliar) but to its detriment this series really gives one the impression that it was made by the homeschooled children of hipsters. Wardrobe and production design were both especially absurd; mixing attire and set dressing from such random periods, I kept expecting the smart phone to make an appearance.🏴‍☠️📱
