I just finished all 10 episodes of The Paper, and I can see why it’s already been renewed for a second season. The show has a perfect mix of heart, humor, and workplace chaos, and the mockumentary style immediately draws you in—fans of The Office will feel right at home.
Watching the struggles and triumphs of the historic Midwestern newspaper and its passionate publisher is both hilarious and surprisingly touching. The characters are memorable, the writing is sharp, and the timing of the comedy hits every beat just right.
I honestly think The Paper has the potential to run just as long and remain just as beloved as The Office. If you enjoy smart, character-driven workplace comedies, this show is a must-watch.
