I started “watching” the movie as background noise because even though I like Tom Cruise, I never thought he could be Jack Reacher. I was wrong. He brought amazing depth to this character, and the movie was so damn good I ended up sitting down to watch it. There was some top-notch action scenes and good acting, but nothing topped how Cruise captured Reacher even though he’s about a foot shorter than the fictional character…you’d never know it. Even in the last scene, watching his jaw twitch, I remembered it from the books I’ve read and he couldn’t have gotten it more right. Now I’m going to watch the other Reacher movie. Well done.
