10/10 – Exactly What I Hoped For! As someone who absolutely loved the original How to Train Your Dragon animated film, I couldn’t be happier with how the movie turned out. It didn’t change anything important from the original, and that’s what made it so perfect for me. The story, the relationships, and the feeling of the cartoon were all still there—and maybe even better on the big screen. Every character was portrayed just the way I imagined. Hiccup was still the thoughtful, awkward hero you root for. Astrid was strong and loyal, and Toothless—what can I say? Still the most lovable dragon ever. They really stayed true to who the characters are, and I appreciated that so much. The visuals were stunning, and the emotional parts hit just right. You could tell the people behind this movie really respected the original story and didn’t try to change it for no reason. If you’re a fan of the original animated film like me, you’ll love this movie. It gave me everything I was hoping for. Honestly, a 10/10 without a doubt!
