As not being an American, I had no clue about the context of the movie, yet I enjoyed it, thoroughly.
In bits and piece I could point out that someone could've been a real life inspiration.
The movie felt to me as an enticing wait to get to the gore and violence expected from a Tarantino movie, every moment I found myself expecting something bloody to go down.
A couple of days after watching it and wondering why was Sharon Tate and her associations along with a few other characters were even a part of the movie, I came across hints of the explanation while watching Cinemasins of the same, then I looked it up and realised what a truly marvellous piece has Tarantino created yet again.
Tarantino has successfully materialised the reimagination of a horrible horrible incident, if a "what-if" has to be pondered over history, such incidences are the ones that should be the most recurring thoughts in all of our minds.
I find myself questioning the morality and sanity of the world on a frequent basis and while people such as Charles Manson and his pack of murderers exist, I hope that they are in abysmally small numbers and that the majority of us would still prefer to change the historical facts of atrocities and these things not happening ever again, Tarantino renews this hope
