(SPOILER FREE)
The incredible amount of hate surprises me. This game allows you to truly experience Pokémon in the best way ever.
To start, you choose a starter out of 3 adorable characters. I struggled to choose as each one was amazing. You're soon introduced to the academy, which allows you to bond with each of the teachers and learn different things about the lore and characters. You even get to learn Pikachu language!
Additionally, you can wash up your Pokémon and make sandwiches during picnics! This adds a lot of fun to the game.
My review hasn't even started to mention the main game, which revolves around 3 separate targets that end up coming together in the end. There is Nemona who wants you to be a champion-ranked trainer, Cassiopeia, who wants you to take down Team Star bases, led by an anonymous character, and Arven, who wants you to help him defeat different titans.
All three stories meet up to go to Area Zero, which is a fascinating place. It truly excited me especially.
On top of all that, this game is fully open world, making your only limitation the power of your Pokémon.
Unfortunately, this game is held back by the hardware it runs on. Many people hope to get a consistent 60 FPS while playing, but in an open world experience like this, it is truly difficult to have that.
My review is a simple review that barely scratches the surface. There are so many things to do, and so many memories to be made.
If you would like to enjoy this game, please refrain from spoilers and guides. It can feel tricky, but attempting to find things on your own makes the experience that much more wonderous.
