I'm a huge Outlander fan, but if I weren't I don't know if I could get into this show. The pacing is actually too fast, in my opinion, in that the big moments - Brian and Ellen meeting, Julia and Henry meeting and then traveling through the stones - had no buildup so they kinda seemed like no big deal in terms of the emotional impact of the show. I am curious about Henry and Julia's story since it's brand-new (while we already know Ellen and Brian's story).
