Bonjour Tristesse

The book is poorly written, no idea how it could sell so much. The movie in comparison is written much better and the story flows without any embarrassing conversation as the book instead does. However, Blake Lively his a very bad casting choice. I am not sure why they decided to go ahead with an actress in her late 30s to interpretate a young girl in her mid 20s. Beside the age, also the hee acting is just terrible. And I usually like this actress so I am very unbiased. The end I felt was rushed, so the story with Atlas was not well explained. It's watchable but definitely not the best

Considering that I love Scorsese, De Niro and Di Caprio I had high expectations. The film is very good, but I have to say it too long, or at least takes to long to get to the point. It's not a movie that I would rewatch. The actors are spectacular but something is missing.
