I’m probably critiquing the movie too much on the limited NFL story/football games with only having maybe 5 minutes of it.
It wasn’t as much of a FOOTBALL movie as it was a Great Story of Warner’s real life ups and downs during his long road to the NFL.
Really the movie was good and really heart warming, a “non-sports” fan could really enjoy this movie because of the emotions and uncanny development of a true underdog.
But if you’re looking for this to be like ‘Friday Night Lights’ & ‘Coach Carter’ type of sports movie, with lots of gameplay and real sports action, then this isn’t the movie you’ll be hoping for( That was my hopes, so like I said I’m kinda selfishly criticizing it).
Overall for a Family/Heart Warning story of a comeback/underdog situation 5/5 STARS
Football Movie with awesome play and focusing actually on the game, unsatisfactory. 2 STARS
