I tried really hard to watch this show. I love SciFi. That is not what this is. This is a space based fantasy show. The writers have absolutely no concern for science or accuracy. The ship has spinning sections to create gravity through centrifugal force. But the rest of the ship has gravity without the spinning. Can’t have gravity through acceleration because the decks are parallel to the direction of travel. A super basic understanding of inertia completely discredits why they slow to almost a stop without the engines running. And to bring the ship up to light speed would create a “gravity” that would send everyone toward the back of the ship. A guy died because they keep giving medications but never did CPR to get the meds circulating to his heart. And the cure for an illness was instant as soon as it touched the crews lips? That has to be absorbed and circulated through the body. Would have taken at least minutes, and that’s if it was a IV shot. I know people will say that I should just let all logic go and enjoy the story. Sorry, I just can’t turn off my brain to do that. Better to watch a reality show.
