This is one drama that I find hard to recommend and strongly recommend to watch at the same time. Some can find it too long why other think they can watch a couple more episodes. So I don't know which side I lean but if you haven't watched this one; without a doubt, go ahead. If you are someone who loves well scripted, slow burn & great chemistry dramas. You won't be disappointed. I am aware of all the controversies that surrounding this drama and all the signed petition even before the release. Nevertheless as the director said it doesn't goes that route instead choose a situation where romance can hardly bloom, a situation where you will feel frustrated and helpless for the innocent life and all those are true. So don't stop yourself watching this one. (I myself have waited more than a year not cause of those controversies but because of all those "ktrauma reels" that came after 2521 and spoiled so many dramas for me and Snowdrop is on that list.) Keeping this in my mind, it's little hard to watch and not cry with those sweets moments in the first couple of episodes. One of the best part of Snowdrop is not only the leads give an outstanding performance but the entire ensemble of the cast outdone themselves. Each and every supporting characters makes you hook. NO ONE IS LACKING. It was also Kim Mi-Soo's last drama. RIP. Her character was my absolute favourite side characters and I bawled my eyes finding the actress passed away. Jung Hae In's facial expressions in different situations as well as the actor who played Gang Mu his helpless expression and disbelief towards Su ho that he is more helpful and can put his life on line for innocent people makes you feel for both the characters (Su ho and Gang Mu); Kim Ji-soo, girl you sure this is your first role, her acting is so on point. She is most tragic in the last and Ji soo nailed her character's emotions. The subtle foreshadowing of future events done through her character's word or act is also beautifully performed. Some of the most beautiful things Snowdrop has was relationship forming between characters in that situation 🔴a little Spoiler🔴 wheather it's Mrs. Oh start seeing Comrade Joo as his son, Ms. Pi devotion towards her dorm students, Gang Mu and Su ho being able to fully trust eachother, the comrades at the end not betraying each other. The dark comedy at times is refreshing to watch. As well as pros to all the people in power and the way that behave. It gets every evident with Nam Tae il and Mr. Ah's character and how they behave as soon as they goes on top. We know the people in power are the villains in this drama but honestly Mr. Ah the not harmful looking is the most brutal of all. And he nailed his character. 🔴 Spoiler ends🔴 Snowdrop will stay one of my favourites as well as the OST especially 'Friend' (opening title track) and the background track especially 'Paper Airplane' and 'Snowdrop' is etched deep in my memories. This became the second drama where I haven't skipped a second of intro in each episode. The Carol like part of 'Snowdrop' and 'Paper Airplane' sound so soothing and ominous at the same time. I can watch this drama again and again. That how amazing this drama is. I'm so grateful that even with all those petitions this was able to get released and completed airing fully otherwise we have missed on an amazing drama with an outstanding performances by everyone.

what an remarkably stupendous show it is! From the acting to the story to the atmosphere just 🤌🏻. It has been a long that I have watched just an awe-inspiring thriller suspense with a horror element. I have always enjoyed horror movies/shows where instead of scaring us with ghostly-makeup-faces writers choose a plot that creates an atmosphere that is truly spine-chilling and frightening and this drama does that effortlessly. Now coming back to the synopsis of this drama (SPOLIER FREE) “the story is about Gu Sanyeong (Kim Taeri), a girl who is having a hard time living alongside her mother barely passing by with the money she makes through her part-time jobs while preparing for a low-ranking civil officer. On the other hand, two leads Yeom HaeSang (Oh Jung Se), a folklore professor, and Lee HongSae (Hong Kyung), a lieutenant get entangled with the mystery revolving around her when she gets possessed. The story begins when SY receives an object as her fathers’s bequest and gets possessed by an evil spirit that Prof. Yeom claims to see and has witnessed before what it's capable of. Together they seek the truth behind a series of mysterious suicides that revolve around the people who are possessed by the spirit.” The premise of the show, the gloomy atmosphere, and the visual representation of mystery set the tone right from the beginning of the show. Every actor involved in that show delivers a great performance. The lead, especially Taeri outdid herself in the way she embodied the role of evil spirit making a chill run down my body similarly goes for Jung Se the expression of hopelessness and his complete breakdown was devastating, and Hong Kyung displays his characters juxtaposition who being a logically thinking detective show skepticism about ghost but still strong enough to talk and observe SY when she is control of spirit was splendidly done. The way the writer chooses to narrate the story will always leave the viewer on the hook with what is coming next and the fact that it seems you know what going to happen next the show just comes right in and shatters that predictability. The drama brilliantly encapsulates horror elements with the folklore and practices of shamanism. Every jumpscare that is in the drama doesn't feel fake but seems so natural like it is meant to be, something like I would feel in real life. It is a drama where the story keeps you at the edge and freaks you out rather than excessive ghostly faces on every jumpscare possible. (SPOLIER ALERT) Now to talk about the five objects that the leads are in search of from the beginning, I loved how the things that seem to be the best advantage can also make things go haywire, and the way they choose to finally end the evil is just cherry on top. If you see it you will know how strong that scene is. The question is should you watch it? YES! shou…?YES, A BILLON TIME YES! The show is that good. No boring or filler episodes, just straight-to-the-point. This show will be on my watch again a dozen times list

Do I love this one? Or I hate it? I have no idea honestly. The comedy was good and that one + point apart from its OST. The show keep you excited for atleast the first half but after almost 25-26 episode it becomes more irritating than grabbing. There were so many plot that could have been utilised. Ex:- the lost money, mysteriously missing in 1994, the relation of a father and son (who had no idea about his son since he time travel a year before everything), then baffling theory of time travel around certain possibilities. But in the end it all comes to romance between a man who travelled from 1993 and a girl in 2017 who is his son's love interest and closest friend. I can see a lot of people talking about what a beautiful relationship it was and so good. This is the first drama where I didn't want them to stay together or get together. Seriously I tried to wrap my mind around it but still nothing, nada! Also all those build up regarding all the information that appeared in first half as clue get lost after 25th episode. They get solved so quickly seems like waste to buildup in the beginning. The 31st episode does try to get to that fact the CEO told about other man and for a moment I thought that they might end on great note. But it still end on not knowing why he went missing in 1994 and what actually happened. (Also don't tell me he excepted it and stayed; as nothing changes in future not even a single information regarding him leaving is changed in any way). So it just created more plot holes rather than giving an explain. Apart from this it also seems like the relation/affection b/w Ji-hoon & Woo Seung was deliberately cutt off as soon as Hyun-jae hang out more with her to make their relation more natural which to me still don't look that way. As she despair him till the second half of the show and suddenly in second half it all him. So overall if you want to watch a drama for comdey this will do. It is good. Thoroughly enjoyed the first half or more of that but the conclusion has so many plot holes made the entire premise look so bland.

What an amazing watch this drama was. Even though it has so many characters and multiple stories going on simultaneously but each story and character shines on their own. The drama never disappoints you whether it comes to character arch mystery of who Dear. M could be as well as with the reveal 😁. Most of the drama with multiple lead often focus on one couple and the rest get a little bit of time but this one gives all the characters enough screen time that viewers connect to each character. You will certainly fall for each person in this story. I feel bad that I waited this long to watch such heartwarming, slice of life piece. Great job to the entire team.
