This was a terrible show. No way would any woman in her right mind let this best friend raise her daughter after she dies. The girl moves in with the family, and right away all of the boys want to bang the poor 15 year old girl. The mother is basically absent all the time, not to mention a terrible actress. This could have been a very teachable moment for young people watching this show, had respect for an orphaned 15 year old girl ever been discussed. I don't consider myself a prude, but young children should not watch this, and there shouldn't be a second season. YUCK!
