An incredibly intelligent film made for those who appreciate the art of film making.
A surrealist nightmare imagined through a lens, the direction of this masterclass in phycological horror is itself a character; the wide angles, the long shots, the format changes signalling the oscillation between time periods, along with the subtleties of imagery that you miss in the blink of an eye... what an absolute masterpiece this is.
This, along with impeccable casting and considered dialogue, with a tempo that perfectly pulls you to the edge of your seat from the very beginning to the chilling end... wow... and all combined with an accompanying audio score that sent my nerves to the limit of what was tolerable. This film is an absolute must see for any fan of film.
Quite impeccable.
