Tim Burton’s impressive new adaption of the Addams family has lived up to all expectations. The cast is picked to perfection, music creating a new timeless dance, and plot interesting enough to keep you watching. It is more than a dysfunctional girls life on face value, Wednesday is a murder-mystery comedy with a love triangle thrown in. It’s not the traditional kids show, basing its viewers on teenagers and adults. If you delve a little deeper, it sheds light on expectations of how to act, gaslighting and manipulation, while still being light hearted with a playful script. Not to mention, the characters are extremely likeable right from the beginning. I found myself still liking certain characters until the end, even if they were meant to be the antagonist in the story! I wish they used the episodes more efficiently, it would just be that touch bit better, but it’s nearly perfect. I’m looking forward to season two, like the rest of the new-found fandom of this tv show, and keeping on with mystery, romance, and all the things that come with this record-breaking Netflix show. It’s definitely worth a watch. (And to all my team tyler gang, I’m with you😂 redemption arc!)
