This is one of the best books I have ever read, no exaggeration. 'Gravity's Rainbow', '2666', 'Infinite Jest', 'Underworld', 'Don Quixote', 'Blood Meridian' and 'Dhalgren' no particular order. Read them all but definitely read 'Dhalgren'. Delany's use of language and imagery is hypnotic and haunting.
