The flash backs the bad guy keeps getting, are to show the viewers why he’s doing what he’s doing!! He believes his own country sold him out and turned there back on him then when he comes to America thinking it will be better?? Then he’s sees that the USA is a dog eat dog world, so saying that the flash backs took away from the show, is crazy…
