This goes to show you like its predecessor Basketball Diaries And Requiem for a Dream Compelling performances of real life peoples crisis and challenged lives can give us hope when we find ourselves in a difficult crisis as well. The actors gave brilliant performances in their French Canadian accents and really reeled you into their lives.
