This is a classic movie in the vain of the 1950's and 60's Roman Epics..Viola Davis is Surperb in her role as the grizzled veteran General, fighting for freedom and struggling to convince others of the fact that their participation in the Slave trade is a crime against humanity and of their brothers and sisters no matter what tribe they are from. A classic story of redemption and triumph..in the vain of Ben Hur. I'd nominate her for Best Actress in Leading Role..Oscar winning performance.. The supporting cast was excellent too..
