It took me a bit to get through because the middle part of the first episode slowed down to a crawl so much that I fell asleep 2 seperate times while attempting to kick off this series. After I was able to completely dedicate my attention to the show I found it to be very well done visually and 100% on par with Jackson's LotR films. I absolutely cannot wait to see how this prequel saga sets up the final showdown that is only summarized at the very beginning of 'Fellowship'. Don't pay attention to the nay sayers and the bot accounts. Give this show a chance and I really think it could become an instant classic. So far I'm absolutely loving it. Can't wait for Friday!
