This is the guy who had been appointed acting Secretary of Defense by Trump 2 months before the insurrection, and who was responsible for the deaths of five Capitol Police because, despite having been warned on January 3 by top military officials about a possible mob attack on January 6 deliberately prevented the DC National Guard, the Virginia National Guard and the Virginia State Police from coming to the Assistance of the Capitol Police until 3 hours after the assault began. The facts he relates in book have been proven false by videotaped evidence and contradictory testimony. He belongs in jail and his book is pure fiction.
