Squid Game Season 2 delivers on it's promise. There is intense drama, visually striking production sets, hint of horror comedy, dark humuor,gore, gut wrenching heartbreaks and a lot of unpredictability. Season 2 begins with flashbacks from Season 1, packed with fan favourite elements from the previous season. But the narrative loses it's pace in between- leaving doubts as if it could ever gain back that momentum again. However, the final two episodes really pick it up. It's fast, chaotic, unpredictable and has a final shocker that changes everything. Before you even process it, the season is over. It leaves you with a lot of questions, theories and no answers. To wrap it up- Since Season one was so unpredictable and first of its kind, i think season 2 failed to live up to its legacy. Although it’s not over yet :) i have hopes for the next season.
