Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful movie! Easily one of the best films I have ever seen. Will definitely see again while it is still in theatres. I hope you will please go check it out!

Great acting. The cinematography/directing was good. The plot was unique but a little heavy on the demonizing of white men. It was a lot like "Get Out" in some ways. The overall film was very interesting.

Excellent acting, special effects, directing, cinematography, and general across-the-boardism. The ending is a mix, but not an illogical conclusion for the film.

One of the most well-produced independent horror films from a cinematic aspect alone, I was happy not to be disappointed by what I knew would be brilliant acting on Nicolas Cage's part. I was, however, pleasantly astonished with Alicia Witt's performance. Acting Oscars for both, I say! Overall production was fantastic across the board. They literally stole like half of the original movie (chasing tornadoes naked origin story, looking for dog in rubble/dog helps them find the Aunt, first scene is people dear to the protagonist getting killed by a tornado, love interest reminding protagonist she shouldn't let the tragedy control her life, "we got twins"/"we got sisters," seeking shelter underground at a movie theatre, rodeo was a lot like the drive-in, taking other people's trucks...) rehashed it, and turned into a "She Can STEM/Girl Power" narrative nobody asked for or needed. Plus, there was a "let's blow up the tornado with fireworks by diffusing the hot/cold air dynamic." They did that in "Sharknado." "Sharknado" literally beat you to the science. I asked for my money back.
