Cobalt Chemistry

The movie lacked direction and meaningful plot. Relied heavily on jump scares and cheap shock horror. By the time the movie was finished I was finally getting into it. There were a few interesting points of the movie with the painting and character development, but unfortunately that was completely destroyed with the way dalton and josh interacted. The movie ent abruptly leaving us with more questions than answers. I was very excited to see the red faced demon again, but he turned out to get a solid 5 minutes of screen time and half of that was him running on the walls. When dalton was possessed, that was actually an interesting plot twist, however 10 minutes later it was resolved by simply closing an ethereal door. The concept was cool, I love Patrick Wilson’s work but unfortunately this was a very underwhelming and I would not recommend watching this film.
