Genre: SciFi Thriiler. As a teenager, I enjoy the show. As a reviewer, I believe the show has its flaws. The acting was okay, but I could definitely see the lack of emotion towards the middle of the season. Wasn't expecting much after seeing that the writer/producer of the A-list made this; same thriller-for-teens-only kind of show. Like in the A-List, many adults were helplessly clueless, making the show hard to stand. Nobody suspected anything? Really? Major flaws in plot logic; could see the twist coming miles away. A slow plot that feels too loose in the end. Good to see some diversity, though. I binge watched it, and it still kept me on the edge of my seat. A nice concept overall, but I'm not looking forward to a season two.

I feel like this is a horror story for kids. It came across as incredibly creepy to me as a high schooler, so I'd say it was more of a thriller. There were some questions I had at the end, but it was a unique read overall, and I like that.
