Sci fi involving time travel can be really good, absurd, or just plain boring. About half way through the third episode, I gave up. Boredom had been setting in as soap opera took over the plot, and when they reached the scene where strings of dead rabbits were held up as their latest find (after they fought over the last of the vending machine candy), I hit the remote's "off" button. (Abandoned domesticated bunnies that I've rescued and found homes for, along with my own, makes this scene disturbing for me and gave me another reason to dislike the series.) I read that this was considered to be a good series to replace the popular "Manifest", which is far more watchable. (Thank you, Netflix, for rescuing "Manifest," and please keep it going.) The plot, dialogue and characters in "Manifest" held viewer interest. When it was threatened with extinction, organized viewer protests rescued it. I'm not going to wait around for "La Brea" and its boring time travelers to be rescued.
