The first time I saw this movie I was 13 years old and as I am 20 writing this and it was still very hard for me to watch. This piece is a classic work of art that will never retire. Its realism juxtaposed with its fantastical elements are what really keeps me-- as an audience member, intrigued. This is definitely one of those films you stay up to watch as the sunrises. Its themes of resilience and identity are some very important parts of the film and for that, it deserves great recognition.
