Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s life story is one of amazing bravery and actually quite interesting. It is definitely a story that should be told. The film does not do his story justice at all, and is very hard to follow and understand. I saw the movie after having read the book.
Sadly, I must recommend skipping the movie and read the book instead.
