The storytelling is awesome. Very stylishly crafted. A tad cringeworthy in parts, the clever eye-to-eye interactions of the evil one with us, the audience, literally holds us in thrall almost as though we were the co-conspirators and that gives a very interactive real time bone-chilling feel. The story was broken up into parts. That felt almost like a thesis or a game plan. Very smartly presented. Each frame is created meticulously as though in a stage show, complete with props et al. There's a surreal inescapable, stifling feel about the whole thing. Yet, like sleep paralysis within a horrible nightmare in which we all know what will happen in the end but can't escape the excruciating details of it unfolding nonetheless, we stay rooted to the spot, resigned to the inevitable gruesome climax.
