I really want to like this show. I enjoy that the show isn’t woke and politically correct. There are a few big turn-offs for me though. The ex-wife isn’t a very good actress. Not only do I dislike her character in general, the lines are being delivered by poor actress. I’m really hoping her character fades away. The daughter storyline is annoying too. I also wish they’d give Billy Bob a bit more than non-stop sound bites. He’s such an incredible actor. Let his acting depth show without backing the character into this one-dimensional, over extravagant corner. Let him deliver more than one-liners. Taylor needs to give his audience a little credit that we can still see these characters as interesting, even when every single line delivered isn’t an over exaggerated blurb. Oh, and give us more Jon Hamm and Demi.
