So heart touching movie based on true story.

One of the best movies of John Abraham. Classic movie with rustic cinematography, gripping storyline and awesome direction. All other actors were incredible. Best dialogue - "baadshah ki gali me aakar uska pata nahi puchte. gulamo ke jhuke hue sar khud rasta bata dete hai."Seen recently again after ages and loved it.

I have never seen the overflowing emotions and sensation this film has created amongst the people who watched it, especially from Maharashtra. The creator of the film had made a permanent place in people's hearts for Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj who was an epitome of courage and lion hearted. The kind of pain inflicted upon him by merciless Aurangzeb makes you feel cry and crave for revenge. Loved Vicky Kaushal in this role and all others were perfect fit. Akshay Khanna has nailed it again. He's master class actor, no doubt. Director Laxman Uttekar's vision of projection is phenomenal. Cheers to all involved in making of Chhavva !!!

The sudden shock of heavy metal drummer suddenly losing his hearing and helpless to cope up with life and his desire to get back on track is truly inspiring. Riz Ahmed acts very naturally and makes a lasting impact with his silence and eye expression, particularly in the climax when he feels that it won't be possible for his partner to turn back to him. He taking a pause for few seconds and saying "It's ok Leu" was the most breathtaking acting I have ever seen. One of the best movies I have seen so far. Absolutely Brilliant !!!

Absolutely brilliant story and direction. In today's times we rarely get to see this kind of intensity in movies. The supreme sacrifice can a man do for his love is Godly and that is heart touching. As usual Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Jimmy Shergil were outstanding. Such films stay with us forever.

The film is extraordinary attempt to show the struggle to survive when nothing comes to your help. A human being can do most impossible things to satisfy the hunger and make a daredevil attempt to climb 5 floors down the balcony without any support. Most touching was Shaurya struggled and suffered so much when he was trapped but everything went unnoticed from the outside world. Not to mention that the direction, background music and acting was beyond comparison. I rate this survival film the best of all others I have watched including Hollywood.

Worst movie after pathaan. Real movie admirers can't be fooled.
