Honestly, gotham knights doesn't deserve the hate. One reason batman isn't on the show *dead* is because warner bros doesn't want batman on tv right now so instead of following the routine of normal gotham shows where batman doesn't appear in the series or the plot is set years before Batman's career or batman has retired. They just straight up killed him. Concerning his suit... From my pov batman was in his office at wayne tower as bruce wayne wearing a suit and tie then the talon comes in and kills him. Because the talon wants people to know that Bruce Wayne is batman he put his cowl on his head after he has killed him explaining why batman was found dead in a suit and his cowl.
