I wish I had waited a few days to buy this game on the Switch, as the reviews have plummeted since I bought it last week. The art and plot of the game are absolutely AMAZING, but the game lags so much it's virtually unplayable. Loading screens between entering stores and traveling between locations (which you do often) takes about 20 seconds each time, with the music skipping and stopping each time. It really pulls you out of the magic of the game and really ruins the experience. All the little cutscenes either freeze halfway through or just completely stop, and crafting items becomes impossible with the lag. I've played a dozen other games on my switch, and I've never had an issue like this before. I've put a few hours into the game and really enjoy the concept, but at this point I can't even play it and I'm just going to have to cross my fingers for some patch updates in the future. For now I would not recommend this game on the Switch as it is.
