This review has some slight spoilers in it so, if you want to play the game without knowing what's next, you could skip this review: This game is really great! It's not just a port of the original Donkey Kong game on the arcade, it starts out like that, but it then there's a twist after the first 4 levels, and spoilers, it is it's own game! So, this is a puzzle type game, where you basically have to find the keys in the levels and go in the key doors, and there's also collectibles found around the levels that if you get them all, you can get a change at getting some 1-ups. Also, almost every level is great, I was always exited to find out what the next level had in store, and the world theme's are good too, while you find some themes we all know like city, forest desert, you also find some really creative themes, like Airplane, Iceberg, and a Ship, that's right, there's a world where your on a ship, like, where else have you seen that in a Mario game before? Also, the level gimmicks are great too, and every world has a new gimmick each time, you almost never see the same gimmick repeated across worlds lazily. The game's music is great too, it's got some good sound tracks in it, and some of the music sounds like the world that it's in as well. Anyways, this game is great, highly suggest checking it out if you looking for a great Mario platformer and slight puzzle game. It also set in course the series that's called "Mario vs Donkey Kong". I only played through the whole game up to world 8-1 since I stopped play a bit ago. Anyways 5/5.
