The best kind of movie there can be. 83 is not a biopic of Kapil Dev, it's the story of the entire 14-membered team, including their manager, who led India's best cricketing achievement till date. The recreation of the characters and matches is spot on. Different from most other cricket movies, 83 gives minimal screen time to personal life drama, and cricket and team scenes are predominant by far. 83 makes the people who watched the 1983 WC relive it and the ones who didn't feel like they watched it, too. 83 is an emotion.
