I found this movie so disturbing that I stopped watching it 30 mins in. I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy the daily company of a sweet, affectionate rabbit who has changed my world for the better. This movie seemed to promote every behavior that could harm or endanger the life of one of these very delicate creatures. It showed rabbits eating candy, drinking sparkling water, being picked up by the ears, placed in small cages, hit in the head with a broom, thrown in the air and down steps, and bathed which could lead to shock/death in real life. I realize it’s just a cartoon but it seemed to be blatantly encouraging abusive behavior. I shudder to think of all the impressionable young children or adults watching this film that will mimic this unacceptable treatment of these kind, helpless creatures. The first movie was enjoyable, but I found this one to not only be unwatchable but repulsively sinister. Animal abuse should never be normalized or promoted in any form!
