Somewhat drawn out character development, showing difficulties that individuals must face alone or together, but ultimately presenting more of an extracted portrait of Hong Kong expats; an ephemeral slice of time and life but not really having anything meaningful, connecting or moving.
I thought it was an incredibly boring waste of time.
