I went with big expectations but it falls way way short of the original, it’s trying but the magic just isn’t there I’m afraid to the point it’s constantly relying on flash backs from the original , the story is beyond weak and the lead just isn’t believable! And in many ways I’m glad! The original is a classic and one of the greatest movies ever the 2nd will be remembered as the poor sequel to a great movie and that’s about as good as it will get ! I’m amazed the production costs are so high as it has a kind of “cheap” feeling about it ! I really noticed the lack of musical score to support the film a huge part of the original , just not there in this film , It lost me at water and Sharks in the coliseum! 🤦🏼‍♂️ not even Denzil can save this film for me 3/10
