If your looking to binge a horror/supernatural show, this is a great choice. I loved the more scientific twist on the tired vampire genre. While it still has some holes in explanation, it is a really great take on vampires, especially if you like pandemic-based story lines. The story is fun even if most of the main characters are dislikefull for their personalities. For example, Dr. Goodweather isn't a great father figure and is pretty much selfish to the end. The son's character is a bit annoying after season one, along with what happens to the mother. However Fet, Mr. Setrakian, Quinlan, Gus, and Palmer were always fun characters to watch. Even Dutch grew on me torwards the end. Enjoyed the ride. As a couple that has a hard time finding good horror movies and shows, I'm glad he found this show!

Alright, I've read some positive and negative reviews on Another life, so I thought to throw in my two cents. I am still in season one, so this is based on just first impressions so far. The show does a good job at setting a mysterious atmosphere. However, I was often saying, " why is he/she doing x?" And pointing out some unrealistic scenarios or the lack of common sense in some scenes. For example, taking off helmets on an alien planet. Or the AI having little control over the ship or the main character not defending herself by saying," guys, I had to...he was trying to kill me." Some characters would realistically not be acting so rash in real life, when you are trained to go through life or death situation in outer space. With that said, the CGI is good, I enjoy how they approach the main characters struggle with her past and present decisions and each episode holds my interest. I'll keep watching because the plot reminds me of Alien mixed with the emotional elements of Intersteller and some plot points of Arrival. It's a good/fun scifi show before bed. Im interested to see where the story will go even if I'm yelling at my screen at some parts.
